My experience with Dona! I was fortunate enough as a teenager to have decent skin, of course with the occasional flare up. I definitely took that for granted.

Recently, in my early 20’s I experienced acne for the first time in my life. I didn’t know what to do! I was absolutely devastated and as ridiculous as that sounds, not feeling comfortable about
the way you look when you see yourself in the mirror takes an enormous toll on ones self confidence and self esteem .I was covering my face with layers and layers of thick makeup- foundation and concealer and powder and bronzer-everything I could think of to cover up acne. I didn’t want to go out with friends, I didn’t want to date anyone because I was so uncomfortable with my skin. 

I came to Dona and asked her if she could help me, and she said, “I can help you but it’s going to take time and patience.” I began getting a series of facials from Dona starting in late August. I chose the essential facial with the oxygen selection. After the first facial I was happy enough, my face felt clean for the most part. But the acne was still there. Dona told me again, “time and patience is going to be key here.” I listened to her and I trusted her, because she was the one who was helping me in my most vulnerable state. I continued to get the essential Rivera facial with oxygen about every two to three weeks. 

After about 4 facials, THE ACNE STARTED TO GO AWAY!!! I couldn’t BELIEVE IT! It was working! 

After a few months, my skin was CLEAR OF ACNE!! No more bumps, no more red marks or painful, pussing blemishes. Dona was right, given time and patience she was going to fix my skin. 

Next, she told me she was going to get rid of the scars and dark marks. I couldn’t believe it, first she cured me of my acne, and now she was going to give me smooth and clear looking skin?! I started getting a custom facial which was essentially a microdermabrasion and an enzyme every other four weeks, and confined the essential Rivera with oxygen every other fours weeks, too. After a few rounds of this, my dark spots and scars seems to be erased away and clear glowing skin came through. I still see Dona ever three weeks for an essential Rivera with oxygen facial because I know how important it is to take care of your skin and keep it healthy. 

Dona has literally given me my confidence back. She has taught me that it is more than okay to invest into yourself and take care of yourself. Dona has always given my sincere and honest advise in terms of skincare. I’ve never felt pressured to purchase anything I don’t want to from her nor have I ever been dissatisfied with the products I’ve purchased through her. I trust Dona and everything she has told me and recommended to me. She truly cares about each and every one of her clients on a personal level and makes that very known. 

I will be going to Dona for as long as I live in Santa Barbara! 

My skin feels and looks amazing and I don’t know if it’s possibly to be more satisfied! I can now go outside without wearing any face makeup and feel amazing about my face! That is such an amazing feeling for someone who was hiding under layers and layers of makeup for so long. 

I get compliments on how much my skin is glowing on a daily basis. I am confident in my skin (literally) again and I cannot thank Dona enough for her patience and diligent care.

She really puts her clients’ needs first and I know I can really trust her when it comes to any kind of skin advice!

Lastly, I just want to add that Dona is a wonderful, kind-hearted person. She really does her best to show her clients that she appreciates them. She herself is also a true supporter of small businesses and the local community, so as long as I’m still in Santa Barbara, I’ll be a client at Dona Bella Spa!”

Dona has been unbelievably helpful to me when I was looking into treating my acne condition on my face. After my first consultation with Dona we set up a package that required me to visit her office twice a week in order to treat my acne condition. Then after seeing results from going twice a week we backed off and I visited her office once every week and then once every two weeks to now once a month.  Through this process Dona has gone above and beyond what most would do in her place.  Anytime I need a treatment and Dona has it, I will be visiting her office.
