meet Dona Bella

My name is Dona, an esthetician who draws on a wide range of therapeutic, natural and aesthetic modalities that provide a unique, personalized experience to help you look and feel your best!

My training as an esthetician began in 2004, although my interest in skincare began even earlier. As a teen, I suffered with cystic acne, a condition that caused both physical and emotional pain. It was due to these struggles that I began a journey – on physical, spiritual and educational levels – to enter the world of esthetics. Throughout my career, I have lived in several cities - in the US and abroad - that shaped my understanding of the effects that diverse food, climate and lifestyles can have on the skin. Ultimately, I was drawn to return to my home community of Santa Barbara to establish my skin-care practice.

In the spa, services are personalized to your needs and goals, and are delivered in a way that is both relaxing and effective. I specialize in acne, anti-aging, waxing and aromatherapy treatments, but also offer a variety of high-quality products and education. Overall, my goal is to provide a peaceful and empowering experience. I strive to build and maintain a relationship - with you - that is beyond skincare. I host special events and perform random acts of kindness to show my appreciation. Additionally, I take sincere pride in supporting the Santa Barbara community by connecting clients to other small local businesses of their interest.
